I lost my Wordle streak at 355 a few weeks ago. Fucking bingo vs. lingo.
There was a period of a week or two when they had challenging words and I think a lot of people lost their streak - so you're not alone.
I had a six today...was kinda sweating bullets.
Great post and great accomplishments
Take care and keep posting/commenting.
Thanks.
@smartasswoman
Enjoy glorious day today
2 diff comments denied...im going for 3.....lol
@CarriedBack @jajo696 that's probably the issue - her comments weren't sexy enough haha!
Wordle has got funny recently. It no longer keeps my scores unless I register. I've just given up on the game.
I think I was talking to someone else who had the same issue. Why don't you want to register?
I'm a NYT subscriber so it's kind of nice, I can look at the Wordlebot analysis every day to see how I did vs. everyone else who played.
@smartasswoman I guess I should register. Not registering is my way of keeping spam mail to a minimum.
@spunkycumfun well, I can understand that! I keep getting emails from NYT offering me $50/year, even though I’m already a subscriber! (I clicked it the first time, wondering if I could get a better deal, but it said I was ineligible).
The one @BuxomBBW4u started was 10 things. 🤔
Depending on what the ticket stubs are made out of, size, and colors used, laying them out like a jigsaw puzzle and framing it might make for an interesting piece
@CarriedBack
That might be a fun project
One of my besties actually did something like that. I'm thinking the ticket ink is probably pretty faded by now...I haven't looked at them for a while.
@CarriedBack I've thought about that a few times, the fact that we no longer have that tangible souvenir of an event. Even if I print out my ticket with the bar code, for some reason that no longer feels worth saving.
@smartasswoman @carriedback I'm a scrapbooker, so even the print-outs go in because, while not pretty (like an old ticket) they have the date, time and venue on them. Which I need since I only scrapbook at the year's end!
@CarriedBack True but I add my own frills.
You should write a book. You are doing so many wonderful things.
Hugs!!
Oh, these days it’s just yoga and knitting. Stereotypical retired lady haha!
Having the dog would tie you down some, well unless that travel bug has abated.
Yes, that’s another reason to postpone. Although as I’ve written about, I’m backing off a bit on travel.
Wow you have done and are doing some really cool things! Thanks for sharing, while it a blogger, it got me thinking of the 10 things I would share but that will take more reflection. Thank you for sharing.
Maybe it could be your first blog post mc!!
@smartasswoman I would need some major help
50 things ... and we did them while walking uphill ... in the snow!
When one has been blogging a long time, there isn't much we don't know about each other but I never knew you were a daughter of the Peace Garden state. Is there an actual peace garden?
Yes, the International Peace Garden is on the border between ND and Canada. It's not near anything else of note so I wonder how many visitors it gets. I went there for summer camp for a couple weeks when I was in 10th grade.
@smartasswoman Does ND have anyplace else to visit? 🤣 I'll put it on my to-go list.
@superbjversion2 the Badlands are kind of like a bit-less-spectacular Black Hills. Medora in the Badlands was a place where Teddy Roosevelt hung out. And then there is Rugby - the geographical center of North America!!
@smartasswoman I didn't know ND had their own badlands. They're a little further west, I see. But the Peace Garden and Rugby could be done in one road trip (though definitely not a day trip)
@superbjversion2 if you get as far as the Peace Garden, you might as well keep going and visit Winnipeg!
@smartasswoman That is a place I've thought about visiting.
Learned a lot. We have same M B personality type. Am considered a complex introvert
Some people are surprised to hear I'm an introvert and I explain to them that it's about how you recharge. For me, that's definitely alone time.
